In Chiang Mai, other than the usual guesthouses and hotels, you can also find many bed and breakfasts. A bed and breakfast (B&B) is an establishment that provides accommodation and breakfast for guests. Typically, bed and breakfasts are private homes with only a few bedrooms available for booking.
Here in Chiang Mai, you’ll find that this term is used loosely. Some are houses that have been built just for travel accommodation purposes. So these bed and breakfasts are more like upmarket guesthouses, and a room here may cost more than in a hotel. Of course, the B&Bs offer a more homely experience than a hotel.
Below are some recommended bed and breakfasts. All have lots of good reviews from travellers.
